Skyline Attractions’ observation Ferris Wheel returns to Darwin’s Stokes Hill Wharf
Darwin Waterfront Corporation is welcoming Skyline Attractions’ observation Ferris Wheel to Stokes Hill Wharf along with two new additions.
The 35 metre observation wheel provides 360 degree views of Darwin’s harbour and skyline, giving tourists and locals alike the chance to see the city from above.
Along with the Ferris Wheel, a 9-hole Australiana themed mini-golf course and pop-up pizza bar will double the fun, creating a precinct with activities for the entire family.
Installation of the Skyline Precinct will commence this week and will mean a number of carparks at Stokes Hill Wharf will be utilised until early October to house the attractions.
Three hour car parking will still be available at the Wharf along with the free Waterfront shuttle which operates every 15 minutes.
Darwin Waterfront Corporation General Manager, Sam Burke notes “the Ferris Wheel proved incredibly popular in its first year and we are excited to see the attraction return.
“The expanded precinct will further enhance the iconic Stokes Hill Wharf and complement our existing harbour cruises and Royal Flying Doctors Service, Bombing of Darwin experience.”
Jane Jones, owner of Skyline Attractions enthused “we are thrilled to be back in Darwin for another season. We had such positive feedback last year, it made sense to expand the precinct and add new attractions.”
The Skyline Precinct will open to the public on Friday, 27th May with tickets available from www.skylineattractions.com.au
