Shark tank ruptures in Shanghai shopping centre

16 people were hurt when a 33,000 kilogram aquarium containing sharks, other fish and turtles exploded at a shopping centre in the Chinese city of Shanghai.
Shoppers in the Orient mall were showered with glass when the aquarium shattered, sending the marine life into the retail space.
Three sharks along with dozens of turtles and small fishes were killed in the incident,
Police have opened an investigation to find out what happened.
It is believed that the material used to make the aquarium walls failed as a result of local conditions.
CCTV footage shows the bursting in the middle of the shopping centre.
