SBF-VISA Introduces Airborne Interactivity

Italian amusement ride manufacturer SBF-VISA Group has delivered its first Airborne Shot rides to clients in Turkey, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Designed to satisfy a vast range of users, Airborne Shot is based on traditional ride design. It features eight two-seater cars, positioned at the ends of the same number of arms connected to the central tower, which revolves at a variable speed.
Where the ride breaks with tradition is in the introduction of an interactive element, making Airborne Shot a unique experience. Each passenger on the ride has a joystick to control their own vehicle and manage the lifting of the arm, which can reach an angle of almost 90 degrees. The joysticks are disabled during loading and unloading of the passengers, and are then enabled by the operator, the operator also being able to control the rotation speed, thus adapting the attraction to riders.
Airborne Shot has already been well received by customers and is set to be a centrepiece of SBF-VISA Groupâs exhibit at the AALARA 2011 Trade Show in May next year.
The new ride serves as a fine example of the SBF-VISA Groupâs continual modernisation, generating feedback from customers and the market, and using this to develop innovative ideas for brand new rides.
