Ripple Massage Makes Waves with Expansion into Sydney, Tasmania and Canberra
Mobile day spa Ripple Massage and Beauty is expanding its operations into Sydney, ACT and Tasmania.
Launched six years ago by Mount Tamborine, Queensland-based therapist Alison Shaw, Ripple now employs over 50 therapists across south-eastern Queensland, northern NSW, Sydney, Canberra, Victoria and Tasmania.
Shaw is the sole owner of the business, which is not a franchise, with Ripple's success showing that even in challenging economic times, small businesses can operate and expand nationally. The company's current expansion follows its strong growth over the last financial year.
Shaw, is confident about the outlook for Ripple over the year to come, as customers continue to look towards value-for-money luxuries.
She explains "despite the economic challenges of last year, Ripple still continued to grow strongly with a sales increase of over 20% on the previous financial year.
"We have found that with our client's increasingly busy lifestyles, the convenience of having the day spa come to you is very attractive to a lot of clients.
"With the therapist doing all the travelling, our clients simply need to relax and wait for their doorbell to ring, there is no parking, no traffic, no hassle. The best part is just relaxing afterwards and enjoying the after effects of the massage."
Ripple provides a unique mobile day spa service to women, men and couples with professional therapists able to visit their clients - at home, in their hotel room and other suitable locations. Ripple's individualised experience allows clients to relax and unwind in the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Clients can indulge in a range of unique massages including the Chocolate, Honey, Russian, Hot Stone and Sea Shell Massage, and tailored packages for men, women and couples.
Ripple also offers a wide range of luxurious beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures, exfoliation and facials.
