Recovery Lab proposition combines wellness and fitness in growing franchise opportunity

Providing a recovery-specific environment with a carefully curated offering of scientifically tested recovery modalities, Recovery Lab is offering franchise opportunities for innovative lifestyle, health and wellness centres.

Born from a desire to educate and redefine the way people recover - physically and mentally - from the demands of everyday life and physical training, Recovery Lab is positioned to reach people across both the fitness and wellness sectors, presenting a range of proven recovery products and services to a much broader audience group across Australia.

At the heart of Recovery Lab’s opportunities is NuCalm, the world’s first patented neuroscience device that works to reduce stress levels and improve sleep quality without medical aids.

Recovery Lab explain that “wearing a NuCalm biosignal processing disc, listening to neuroacoustic tracks through noise cancelling headphones and wearing an eyemask will help slow brain wave function to relaxed ranges and suspend the dominance of your parasympathetic nervous system.

“NuCalm facilitates recovery through applied neuropsychobiology and neuroinformatics that mimic the body’s natural process of slowing down brain and body function for sleep.”

Looking to reach new markets, Damien Bain of Fitness Business Sales, has been appointed to the NuCalm executive team, in a fractional consulting role, as Chief Operating Officer.

Commenting on being tasked to lead the brand into its next stage of growth, operations and scalability across Australia, Bain explains “right now, we have five locations operating across Victoria and Queensland, and our goal is to have 20 franchises operating by the end of 2022.

“My passionate Franchise Sales team at Fitness Business Sales are as excited as I am, to support Recovery Lab in the execution of its site growth plans, so we can all achieve the set objectives.

“My clients at Fitness Business Sales are typically within the fitness industry, but this fractional role with Recovery Lab … has such a natural synergy due to wellness and recovery going hand-in-hand with the needs of the fitness industry.

“Essentially, if you have a mentally or physically taxing job; or if you’re a fitness fanatic in search of an outlet for muscle recovery; or if you’re in need of rehabilitation from an injury, Recovery Lab will help you feel better, relax, recharge, recover and move closer to achieving optimum performance in your life.

“And who doesn’t want that?”

Recovery Lab franchisees benefit from from centralised support and help in developing and executing communications strategies backed by national advertising, public relations and communications initiatives built around the master brand.

Recovery Lab outline the treatments offered at their wellness centres:

NuCalm
NuCalm is the world’s first patented neuroscience device that works to reduce stress levels and improve sleep quality without medical aids. Wearing a NuCalm biosignal processing disc, listening to neuroacoustic tracks through noise cancelling headphones and wearing an eyemask will help slow brain wave function to relaxed ranges and suspend the dominance of clients' parasympathetic nervous system.

Whether you’re preparing for your next athletic event, a long day at the office or a difficult week, NuCalm will help alleviate stress, promote a healthy mind and aid constructive sleep patterns.

Proven Benefits:
• NuCalm facilitates recovery through applied neuropsychobiology and neuroinformatics that mimic the body’s natural process of slowing down brain and body function for sleep.
• Proven to support sleep, increase energy levels, and enhance your general performance, NuCalm can completely change your day and night in just 30 minutes.

Infrared Saunas
Infrared Saunas use heaters to emit a range of warm infrared light absorbed by the skin’s surface. The infrared lamps direct heat to your body for deeper and faster muscle healing by directly penetrating your body. With maximum comfort and health benefits assured, infrared saunas offer a holistic experience.

Normetic’s Compression Boots
Normetic’s Compression Boots use scientifically-backed technology to relieve muscle pain after a session at the gym, an exhausting work week or a full day running errands. No matter your discipline, capability, or age, the Normatec compression boots offer a restorative massage to ease any muscle strain.

Ice bath therapy
Ice bath therapy is an effective way to speed up the process of recovery for injured or inflamed muscles caused by any intense physical activity. Relax, recharge and unwind in one of our tubs and combat Delayed Onset Muscle Pain (DOMS).

Compex’s Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Whether you’re a professional athlete, fitness fanatic, office worker or someone looking for a new method of rehabilitation, Compex’s Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) is scientifically designed to accelerate muscle recovery. Compex EMS is a painless way to flush out unwanted toxins through the muscles' renewal of blood and nutrients.
