Queensland aquatic operators to celebrate International Women's Day with WAVES 2024
A collaboration between key players in Queensland's aquatic facility sector - Aquatics and Recreation Queensland (ARQ), Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA), Royal Life Saving Society - Queensland and the SPASA Australia - will seeing the staging of an inspirational event, WAVES 2024, for the upcoming International Women's Day.
Being held on the afternoon of Friday 8th March at the Cielo Rooftop (located in La Costa Restaurant) in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, the event aims to bring together both male and female aquatic leaders and executives to empower industry career pathways and celebrate women's achievements.
WAVES will feature influential leaders who have made significant impacts in aquatics, sharing their journeys, insights and strategies for success and will also include a panel discussion that will see the sharing and celebrating the accomplishments of women leaders who have set benchmarks for excellence within aquatics.
The event also promises great networking and opportunities to connect with other ambitious and driven leaders from across the industry.
Promoting the event, organisers state "let's engage in meaningful dialogue about empowering all leaders, regardless of gender to elevate and grow our industry.
"WAVES 2024 is not just an event, it's a movement, a call to action to inspire our future leaders and challenge limitations."
