Qudos Bank Arena to install Tripleplay technology

Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has selected digital signage, IPTV and video-streaming solutions provider Tripleplay to install its technology across the venue.

The installation of Tripleplay’s digital signage and IPTV solution at Australia’s largest indoor sports and entertainment arena is designed to promote fan engagement at the arena and increase on-site revenue generation.

The venue will deliver IPTV and digital signage content to around 130 screens, with the solution to be integrated with on-site digital menu boards at food and beverage stands.

Commenting on the installation, Aimee Head, Graphic Design and Digital Coordinator at Qudos Bank Arena, advised “Qudos Bank Arena’s transition from the previous digital signage, IPTV, video-streaming provider to Tripleplay has changed the way the commercial department uses our digital screen assets across the entire arena.

“Not only is the new interface and dashboard incredibly user-friendly, saving time in the application and upload process, it also allows the team to make real-time changes and preview images of the content that is going to be distributed to the relevant digital screens before it is published.”

Tripleplay’s solution has been deployed at other sites across the Asia-Pacific region, including the Melbourne Cup, Mediacorp and Crowne Plaza Hotels.

Managed by AEG Ogden, Qudos Bank Arena also serves as the home of the Sydney Kings National Basketball League franchise.

Acts set to play at the venue over the coming months include Childish Gambino, Hugh Jackman and Fleetwood Mac.
