Priava looks to future through rising star award backing
Leading cloud based venue and event management system provider Priava has capped a successful year with its sponsorship of the Rising Star Award at the Entertainment Venues Association of New Zealand (EVANZ) Venues Awards.
Backing the presentation of the Award to Roger Farr, Manager of the Ashburton Events Centre Trust, confirms Priava’s commitment to the future of the venue industry, borne out the success of it cloud-based management system.
With its Events Perfects system used by 500 clients in 13 countries, including prestigious clients such as Liverpool Football Club, Lords Cricket Grounds and London’s Palace of Westminster (home of the House of Commons and House of Lords), Priava’s United Kingdom operations grew by 70% over the past five years.
Becoming operational in early 2013, Priava's new flagship Cloud product was first adopted in New Zealand, by the Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch.
Backing the future of the venue industry, Priava is offering the system to educational institutions in Australia, New Zealand and the UK free-of-charge in order that students, and the next generation of event and venue professionals, can become familier with the product.
This offer also includes training sessions to teachers.
Explaining the move, Priava Chief Executive James Pegum states “we want to invest in the future of the industry and developing its skills base.
“This requires taking a leadership position and being active and generous in supporting educational institutions and future event and venue professionals.
“Introducing new technology to future professionals ultimately benefits all parts of industry.”
