PMY Group announces acquisition of UK-based digital solutions company
Sporting technology consultancy the PMY Group has announced its acquisition of C3i Group, a premier digital solutions company based in the United Kingdom.
Advising that the acquisition supports the company’s expansion strategy throughout Europe, PMY Group Managing Director, Paul Yeomans stated “our business has been experiencing rapid growth in Australia and New Zealand, the United States and more recently in Europe, so it makes perfect sense to acquire a strong and well-respected business such as C3i to further that growth.
“We are excited to welcome C3i into our global team.”
For 11 years C3i has provided expert technology services to large scale venues and events including the end-to-end management of digital, broadcast production, and audio visual solutions. C3i has supported high-profile clients and events including The Open (Golf’s oldest Major), Principality Stadium in Wales, and various Rugby World Cup tournaments.
Under the PMY banner the team will continue to serve these and other celebrated clients as their independent digital and technology services partner.
The acquisition sees Jason Hall, founder of C3i, become Executive General Manager - Global Delivery, based in the UK.
Commenting on the change, Hall affirmed that “PMY and C3i Group are aligned in values encompassing C3i’s existing team, our work, and our steadfast commitment to client outcomes, so we are excited at the opportunity to join PMY and take our service offering to the global stage.
