Pilot workshop to expand Cardio Tennis
Tennis Australia is looking to involve fitness trainers in a pilot program to expand the delivery of its Cardio Tennis program.
Launched in January, and currently being run by over 320 qualified coaches across Australia, Tennis Australia now wants to engage with successful fitness trainers through the pilot program.
The program will run from September to December and will commence with a workshop on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th September 2013. For successful applicants, Tennis Australia will cover travel expenses to attend the workshop.
A successful global tennis-fitness product available in 30 countries, Cardio Tennis is a fun, social, group tennis-fitness program for people of all ages and abilities.
A key part of Tennis Australia's T16 strategy, Cardio Tennis aims to bring people into and back to tennis, to engage them and get more people playing tennis, more often.
Energetic, highly motivated and successful fitness trainers who want to be part of the Cardio Tennis Fitness Trainer pilot, will need to meet the minimum criteria, and abide by Terms and Conditions (most importantly being to run a minimum of an eight-week Cardio Tennis program between October and December 2012.)
Interested parties should submit an expression of interest letter and a Curriculum Vitae to Belinda Colaneri at Tennis Australia by Tuesday 28th August 2012. Email: bcolaneri@tennis.com.au or go to www.cardiotennis.com.au
