Perfect Events Group awarded contract for Melbourne’s Northcote Rise Festival 

Melbourne’s Northcote Rise festival returns after a 13-year hiatus on 18th February 2024 and the Perfect Events Group - a leading event planning and management agency – has been awarded the contract to deliver the event ensuring it will be bigger and better than ever.

The contract was awarded following a $450,000 grant from the Victorian Government to boost local business and stimulate the economy following the impact of the COVID pandemic. The Perfect Events Group will be responsible for producing the event to reconnect with its local audience. The event will celebrate and showcase local entertainers and businesses on the High Street strip.

Themed - Good Feels on the Rise, the event is a family-friendly festival featuring local artists, local artists, outdoor dining and bars from local restaurants and cafes, mini stages and stalls from local traders.

Local State Member for Northcote Kat Theophanous advised “Northcote’s traders came to me with a vision for a festival that would bring people together, revive our local economy and showcase everything we love about our vibrant and eclectic High Street – we are so proud to back their exciting ideas and see this festival become a reality.”

Northcote Rise President Andrew Mansfield added “Northcote traders and small businesses have been doing it really tough over these last couple of years, and it is just so fantastic to have this event to look forward to, to boost the spirits of the community and bring some energy and excitement back to the High Street strip.”

The Northcote Rise Festival is managed by the Northcote Business Association which is a volunteer-led organisation with a mission to bring people from all over to connect and share their love of High Street Northcote.
