People’s Day at the Ekka attracts more than 70,000
The Ekka People's Day earlier this week saw massive crowds to view the showcased Grand Parade of champion animals, a packed program of special one day live entertainment shows and the thrills of Sideshow Alley.
By night’s end on Monday 13th August, well over 70,000 people made the most of Brisbane public holiday – the biggest People’s Day crowd in almost 15 years.
With great weather and temperatures predicted the week also saw the free child Dreamworld ticket offer for every purchaser of a child Ekka ticket on 14th and 15th August.
