Paradise Resort Gold Coast voted as ‘Best Family Resort’ for 13th consecutive year

Paradise Resort Gold Coast has been voted Best Family Resort by readers of ‘Holidays with Kids’ - marking its13th consecutive year as Australia’s Best Family Resort – 4 stars and under, a testament to its appeal.

The accolade comes after owner Dr Jerry Schwartz invested massively in the hotel’s continued upgrade, which has seen the unveiling of stylish refurbished rooms, the launch of a new multipurpose sports court and arcade-style games room, the installation of four new guest lifts in all guest wings, and the debut of two new world-class events including an ice-skating spectacular, ‘Welcome to Paradice’ and cabaret style performance, ‘Let’s Get Loud’. There’s even colourful new signage to welcome guests as they arrive.

In announcing Paradise Resort’s accolade, Holidays with Kids commented “Paradise Resort Gold Coast is the only resort in Australia to boast a water park, lagoon pool, spa, enormous aqua play attractions, an ice rink and a laser tag arena, it caters to all ages with diverse activities, including a charming miniature train, teddy bear workshops, and movie nights.

Paradise Resort General Manager, David Brook, said it was an honour to be awarded the title of Australia’s Best Family Resort for 13 years in a row, but the Paradise Resort team didn’t take the accolade for granted.

“We consider these awards very important, as our guests are voting directly, and many of them have been coming back to the resort for over a decade or more,” said Brook.

“To stay at the top, though, you must continually invest in the product, and our owner – Dr Jerry Schwartz – is committed to continually refreshing the hotel, meaning even better facilities and entertainment value for families.

“The new look rooms and facilities have been received well, and we are now excited about looking after the parents with our new adults-only pool and lounge area, which is currently under construction.
