Original Fitness Co to provide fitness and heath services for Abu Dhabi's TDIC
Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, has appointed the Original Fitness Co. (OFC), a leading United Arab Emirates-based fitness training company, to provide high quality fitness and health-based services for its varied developments.
Building on the current state-of-the-art sports and recreational facilities already available for residents in TDIC's luxury communities - the Saadiyat Beach Villas, Saadiyat Beach Residences, The Residences at the St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, and the Eastern Mangroves residences - OFC will provide a wide range of initiatives and exclusive programs, starting with Personal Training and Circuit Style Fitness classes at the St. Regis Athletic Club and the Saadiyat Beach Residences as of this month.
Based on the initial feedback received from TDIC residents, OFC will roll out further amenities over the remainder of 2013. Once the health and fitness programmes are launched, residents of all ages can enjoy numerous activities ranging from sports camps for children, basketball, tennis, and football tournaments, fitness classes such as Circuit, Yoga, and Boot Camp, as well as a ladies-only class called 'Wonder Woman Fitness'.
In addition, OFC will present various community wellness seminars on topics such as nutrition, posture, heath risks and fitness goals.
TDIC Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, Sales and Leasing Ahmed Al Fahim explains "the appointment of OFC, who are among the leading health and fitness organisations in the UAE, is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that our residents can take advantage of the best health and fitness facilities and services available.
"We are confident that OFC expertise will only enhance the various offerings that are currently available in all of TDIC's residential developments."
OFC Managing Director Corey K Oliver added "we are truly honoured to be selected for this exciting opportunity within TDIC's communities on Saadiyat and in the Eastern Mangroves complex.
"Our team of fitness trainers, health consultants and wellness experts have set themselves the task of getting TDIC residents fit and healthy by offering holistic and innovative fitness, health and wellness programs."
Australian-born Oliver, a 2009 Rugby 7s World Cup representative, established OFC after relocating to Dubai.
Residents can consult with OFC's wellness professionals, who will guide them through their diverse range of services, such as the Body Transformation SUCCESS Program, Body Composition Assessments, and Basic Fitness Testing.
Oliver concluded "we want to offer our clients some exciting and innovative ways of exercising that they haven't previously experienced before, or those who may be disillusioned with their current regimes."
