Optus Stadium launches The Ozone attractions hub

The Ozone, Optus Stadium’s attractions hub, has launched with Perth’s first chance to experience HALO, the Stadium’s much anticipated roof top tour.

Offering unique and compelling experiences, The Ozone is a one stop shop to book all Optus Stadium experiences, including HALO, an Optus Stadium Tour, the Warrang-Bridil Aboriginal Culture Tour, either in the new OZONE centre beneath the City View Café at Optus Stadium or online.

The Matagarup Zip + Climb activities are also being run from The Ozone.

Explaining that the opening has set the venue on its way to becoming a 365 day a year entertainment precinct, Optus Stadium Chief Executive, Mike McKenna stated “there is so much more on offer in the precinct. From several distinctive tours, the wonderful Stadium Park, Chevron Parklands and playground areas, through to breakfast and lunch at the City View Café overlooking the Swan River/Derbarl Yerrigan and Perth.”

The two-hour Halo tour, conducted by knowledgeable and experienced tour leaders, takes people up 78 steps to walk the roof, sit in the highest seats at Optus Stadium, 42 metres above the ground, and for the adventurous, the choice to lean out over the edge for the perfect photo.

Only a modest level of fitness is required to climb the steps, with the rest of the tour being conducted on a level gantry with participants securely tethered to safety rails. A fully accessible experience will be constructed later in the year.
