Online surf coaching website partners with mainland surfing states
Online surf coaching website, Surf Better Now, has has signed an agreement with all mainland state surfing bodies to become partners of the newly launched website.
Created by Surfing Victoria’s High Performance Coaching Team, Surf Better Now is an online coaching website that is designed to provide technical and mental solutions to accelerate the development of all surfers, with a specific focus on developing both aspiring and recreational surfers to reach their full potential.
State Surfing Members across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia will receive discounted access to the new website while a revenue share model will help inject much needed funds into each organisation.
Surfing Victoria Chief Executive, Adam Robertson advises “It’s amazing to finally see this project come to fruition.
“The team have worked on this for the last 18 months and we are really proud of the product, and happy to be able to offer it to all surfers.
“We are excited to partner with all of the other mainland surfing states, and look forward to working with them to help surfers in their state improve their surfing.”
The website is designed to capture the knowledge and resources developed by Surfing Victoria and deliver it in a clear and simple manner. Surfers who have been part of Surfing Victoria High Performance Program include Nikki van Dijk, India Robinson, Xavier Huxtable, Joe Van Dijk, Codie Jeffery, Willis Droomer, Kobie Enright, Isabella Nichols and more.
Surfers also have the option to submit video footage of themselves and get a personalised review back from one of the experienced Surf Better Now coaches. The reviews focus on technical changes that will help improve the surfer’s skills.
Website subscriptions are now open for purchase with levels available based on the surfer’s skill level. The first 3 levels are free to the public with subscriptions starting at $4.54 per month.
