Online Education on Club Membership Retention
MobileFit Intelligent Fitness Systems is offering industry professionals a series of free educational videos on fitness club membership retention.
MobileFit has launched the initiative in an attempt to provide Australian fitness clubs with more knowledge about the importance of member retention.
MobileFit Australia's Lane Harrison explains that "many clubs are starting to understand the importance of member retention in operating a successful health club.
"Through talking to our customers and with other clubs throughout the industry we realised that clubs now understand how important member retention is, however often don't know where to start to improve their member retention metrics. "
MobileFit's online exercise tracking and retention system was developed through three years of research and development in the USA. During this time the team at MobileFit accumulated a huge amount of research on health club member retention that was then used to help design the system.
"We like to share this research and information with our customers as it allows them to get even more value out of our software" adds Harrison.
"The response after providing this information to customers was fantastic, so this lead to the idea of developing a short educational video series that we could share with any health club interested in improving their member retention."
Harrison believes that the information provided in the educational videos is simple yet ground breaking and that fitness clubs need only implement a few small principles and strategies to reap large rewards.
The retention video series can be viewed for free by clicking on the link below.
MobileFit are also exhibiting on Stand P59 at the Australian Fitness & Health Expo, being held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th April.
