One week countdown to NARPACA Ticketing Professionals Conference
With just a week until the seventh annual Ticketing Professionals conference, Organising Committee Chairman Tim Roberts is still able to accept new registrations.
The conference, being held from 23rd to 25th February 2011 at the Sebel Hotel, King George Square, Brisbane right next to the city's Town Hall.
The 2011 Ticketing Professionals Conference and Trade Show will continue to build on the success of the six previous Northern Australia Regional Performing Arts Centres Association (NARPACA) events with the theme 'Building a Team.'
As Roberts (pictured), explains "arts and entertainment events are the perfect example of teamwork. Without each of the performers and technicians playing their parts in the performance, it would be impossible to pull it together. No one performer can go it alone - even the soloist or principal artist needs the support and back-up of the cast, crew, chorus or orchestra.
"We who work behind the scenes in administration, marketing and box office also need to cooperate effectively with our colleagues and networks in order to deliver our best 'performance' to our customers. What teamwork principles can learn from the stage and employ in our offices, board rooms and box offices in order to make our organisations and jobs the best they can be?
"Over three busy days (delegates) will hear from national and international experts and network with your peers from around Australia. As part of the conference, the trade show offers system vendors and you the opportunity to share, discuss and demonstrate recent advances in ticketing systems and services."
Tickets.com are the Platinum sponsor for the event.
