NT Croc Migrates to Sydney
Rex, a 4.62 metre saltwater crocodile, has successfully relocated from Darwin to Sydney.
Formerly known as Igor, Rex is set to be the highlight of a new exhibition at Sydney Wildlife World.
The crocodile arrived at the Darling Harbour attraction late last week, considerable effort being used to move the 650kg reptile from his customised travelling box and into his new enclosure.
Rex had lived at the Darwin crocodile farm for several years but had become aggressive towards other crocodiles and had killed two female crocs.
Rex is now the centerpiece of Sydney Wildlife World's new Kakadu Gorge Saltwater Croc exhibit.
