NSW to host national hockey events

The NSW Government has announced a long-term strategic partnership with Hockey Australia which will see a series of domestic and international events held in Sydney and Regional NSW over the next five years.

The agreement will span the period from 2016 to 2020 and will deliver a total of 32 domestic and international events, and will also see international hockey return to Sydney, with a new annual marquee international event to be launched by Hockey Australia in 2018.

NSW will also host international hockey events and National Championships events at various locations across Sydney and Regional NSW.

The 2016 Australian Under 21 Championships will be held at Sydney Olympic Park while the 2016 Australian Under 15 Championships will be held in Wollongong.
