NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet confirms cabinet appointments with few changes in leisure portfolios

Newly appointed NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has announced a new NSW Cabinet team with Ministers in leisure portfolio’s unchanged.

Advising of minimal changes had been made to Cabinet, to ensure stability and continuity for the people of NSW, Premier Perrottet (pictured) stated “(the NSW) Government has not stopped working for the people of NSW, and the Ministry sworn in today will hit the ground running.

“Our undivided focus is getting the people of NSW back on their feet, getting kids back in school, people in jobs and businesses open, so we can reclaim the freedoms we have all had to sacrifice for so long.”

A small number of necessary changes in Ministerial portfolios include the appointment of Paul Toole as Deputy Premier; Matt Kean taking on the role of Treasurer as well as his current portfolios of Minister for Energy and the Environment; and Rob Stokes taking on the role of Minister for Transport and Roads as well as his current portfolios as Minister for Planning and Public Spaces.

The new Cabinet was sworn in at Government House today.

Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors and Veterans

Premier Perrottet was confirmed in his role on Tuesday following the surprise resignation of former Premier Gladys Berejiklian on 1st October when it was revealed that she was the subject of an investigation by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
