NRL’s Knights members and fans the focus of new Isagenix partnership
Ahead of the start of the 2021 NRL season, the Newcastle Knights have announced a partnership with global health and wellbeing company, Isagenix International, that will see the Knights and Isagenix work together on a range of initiatives aimed at improving the health of Knights players and supporters everywhere.
The link will also see the Isagenix logo feature on the back of the Knights playing jersey for 2021.
Established in 2002 in Arizona, Isagenix International believes that everyone deserves to experience a healthy, joyful, and abundant life.
With more than 425,000 customers in 26 markets worldwide, including Australia and New Zealand, Isagenix produces more than 175 products designed to help people get and stay healthy, while its supportive community of customers and independent distributors are committed to helping each other feel, look, move, or eat a little better each day.
Welcoming the link, Knights Chief Executive, Philip Gardner stated “we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Isagenix, and I thank Isagenix International and here in Australia and New Zealand for its show of support.
“The partnership we are building is truly unique. While it has all the usual elements of a sporting sponsorship, there is also a mutual commitment to helping our community become fitter and healthier.
“Through the Knights and Balance Collective gyms, we will work with Isagenix on a range of initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of our Members and fans. Each will be given the opportunity to sign up to IsaBody Challenges or learn from our Head of Physical Performance Balin Cupples and our Nutritionist Rachel Svenson about keeping fit and healthy.
“We believe we are breaking new ground in sporting partnerships and we are excited for what is to come.”
The partnership was officially launched this morning by Knights stars Blake Green and Hymel Hunt, who themselves have become users of Isagenix products over the 2021 pre-season.
Isagenix General Manager - Australia and New Zealand, Steve Foxwell added “our partnership with the Knights signifies the essence of Isagenix - to support people on their path to health and wellbeing.
“We are delighted that the team will showcase Isagenix to their fans and community as an elevated wellness experience that specialises in delivering the Art of Wellbeing to families.
“We are excited for the 2021 NRL season and to be working with the players and fans as they start their Isagenix journey.”
Isagenix will make its debut on the Knights jersey next Friday night, 12th March, when the team will welcome members and fans back to McDonald Jones Stadium for their clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
