NRL and Steeden agree extended official match ball partnership

The NRL has extended its long-running partnership with Steeden will see the Australian brand remain as the competition's official match ball until the end of 2027.

With a long history of promoting rugby league across Australia and New Zealand, the partnership dates back to 1973.

Catering for all levels of competition from the grassroots to the international level for players of all ages, Steeden is committed to working alongside the NRL to continue to push the competition forward into an exciting period for the game.

Australian-owned since the 1950s, the company will continue to be at the heart of the game, working with the NRL to develop new ways to engage fans and propel the competition into the future.

Commenting on the extended sponsorship, NRL Executive General Manager of Partnerships, Jaymes Boland-Rudder stated "NRL is excited to have Steeden continue as the Official Match Ball of all NRL’s elite competitions (as) Steeden is a brand that is synonymous with rugby league.

"We look forward to working with Steeden on new innovations and fan engagement activities over the next five years.”
