Nike Fitness Festival heads to Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne

Nike is to present its Nike Training Club (NTC) Tour at simultaneous events in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday 19th March.

The Tour, sponsored by Nike Australia Pty Ltd in Australia, and by Nike New Zealand Company in New Zealand, features training challenges ranging from studio workouts to high-intensity training, led by Nike Master Trainers.

Aimed primarily at women, the events invite participants to work together to attain fitness goals and try new workout styles, with Nike offering seven weeks of intense training in the lead up to tour to ensure you're all set for the main event.

The planned event experiences in each city differ, with the Sydney event at Darling Island Wharf expected to attract 2,500 participants for a seven-hour fitness festival.

Led by world-class trainers - including Nike Master Trainer Kirsty Godso - #NTCTourSyd will host Pilates, running, dance, boxing, high-intensity and cardio sessions.

The events in Auckland (being held at Next Generation – The Dome in Parnell) and Melbourne (at Margaret Court Arena) are will last half a day and are expected to attract up 500 participants.

Nike has also announced a new women’s series, the NikeWomen Victory Tour, which is being promoted as the largest women’s event series in the world.

The 2016 NikeWomen Victory Tour is designed to engage athletes at all levels in a series of one-of-a-kind running and training events.

The tour start on 13th March in Nagoya, Japan, and includes 10 kilometre marathon Nike+ Run Club (NRC) races, NTC Tour training experiences and unique NRC and NTC events.
