New Western Australian tourism marketing campaign unveiled

Tourism WA has unveiled the next phase of the 1001 Extraordinary Experiences - a $1.6 million tourism marketing campaign showcasing the best 1001 experiences travellers can have in Western Australian.

After nearly 6,000 entries from people in 27 countries, the best 1001 extraordinary experiences have been selected and made into a stunning quick frame film which features more than 300 different locations around Western Australia.

In addition to the film, a website has been developed which provides a wealth of valuable destination information for prospective travellers.

The website features the 1001 Extraordinary Experiences film and information about each of the 1001 images and who took them, as well as a map and holiday deals within the region. Links to partner deals and westernaustralia.com for more destination information are also available.

The 1001 Extraordinary Experiences campaign is a valuable asset for prospective travellers and for WA's tourism industry.

A digital and outdoor advertising campaign using some of the best 1001 Extraordinary Experiences has also begun.

Industry is encouraged to help promote the campaign by sharing the 1001 Extraordinary Experiences through their own digital media platforms such as a website, Facebook and Twitter; and promoting the campaign through their consumer databases.

For more information on the campaign read the latest media release or visit Tourism WA's corporate website.
