New inflatable waterpark unveiled in Queensland
A new portable waterpark, Splash Lagoons, has begun operations at agricultural and country shows in Queensland.
Following the success of Waterworld Central and Water Wonderland attractions, Splash Lagoons began operations at the Dalby Showgrounds earlier this month and is also visiting Kingaroy and Chinchilla Showgrounds.
With two pools and five large waterslides, Splash Lagoons offers an inflatable waterpark that is being transported from town to town across Queensland for weekend operations.
A longtime operator of rides at agricultural shows throughout Queensland, showman Welsey Cronk created Splash Lagoons.
He explains that the concept is proving popular with children in country towns, stating "it's amazing when they hit the bottom of the slide and they splash into the water.
"It's a cross between pure delight and pure terror."
