New directions for Siemens aquatic products

Following Siemens Ltd's recent announcement of a change of approach for its aquatic and commercial pool products in Australia and New Zealand, longtime aquatic products business development manager Tim Batt has formed Tim Batt Water Solutions Pty Ltd to take the Siemens product range further and to offer new products and benefits for customers.

Effective from 1st November 2011, Siemens has moved from its historical direct approach to an indirect model with an experienced and specialised partner, Tim Batt Water Solutions Pty Ltd, for the distribution of Siemens pool controllers, Barrier M UV disinfection systems and Siemens chemical feeder and chemical product ranges for aquatic applications.

This approach will form part of Siemens' overall industry partner program to ensure that customers receive the highest levels of service and support.

All Siemens' existing obligations for product supply will be honoured and all contracted service agreements will run their term.

Having managed Siemens' Aquatic business for the last five years, and for US Filter and Stranco for 25 years prior to that, Tim Batt explains "I am keenly aware of the special needs of our customers in this industry."
