Navigation software company PAM partners with leading venues
Innovative Australian navigation software company PAM is helping venues and campuses of all kinds to welcome visitors back safely and improve the customer’s experience.
As a cloud-based navigation platform, PAM is designed to remove barriers, bottlenecks and discomfort so that visitors and fans can navigate the ‘new normal’ and get the most out of their experience of venues and precincts.
As the world continues to adapt to Covid, with venues grappling with how to get large crowds back safely, PAM founder and Chief Executive, Stephen Minning explains “many products and systems do parts of what PAM does, but PAM is the first complete CX navigation system.
“By taking people exactly where they want to be, from anywhere in the city, PAM’s navigation software helps put people and places in sync. PAM's wayfinding technology also creates powerful customer experiences, seamlessly connecting visitors with events and brands in real-time.”
Venues use PAM to improve customer experiences and increase customer engagement with brands, events and amenities. This engagement results in increased revenue, while higher customer satisfaction ratings drive repeat attendance.
In the wake of Covid lockdowns, venues are using PAM to reopen safely by preventing overcrowding and managing social distancing alerts.
In a long-standing Australian collaboration, PAM has been working with the University of Technology Sydney for several years.
After creating an ecosystem of physical and digital signs using PAM’s smart navigation software, PAM now populates MyUTS, the campus navigation solution for mobile devices, across the UTS campus with live maps, routes and dynamic content. Outdated signs, maps and content can be updated in seconds, while buildings on campus are now resilient, adaptive and smarter.
Recently, PAM has begun working with a cutting-edge sports stadium in the United States to help it deliver a new type of fan and visitor experience, supported by a world-class navigation experience. The size of this project is unparalleled: spanning almost 120 hectares, the district combines sports, retail, commercial and residential zones, connected by PAM.
Minning advises “when visitors can easily find their seat, the perfect parking spot, the restroom when they need it, or the best eateries, places become more pleasurable, productive and profitable.
“Navigation is the backbone of successful venues, which is why we created PAM – a vital piece of infrastructure that is designed to solve many of the biggest challenges that venues face.
“We are extremely proud of what we have created here at PAM. We are starting to work with some international brands and organisations, delivering solutions for iconic venues and events. The future is now.
“And we’d like to think we’re the ones showing the world how to get there.”
Based in Australia with offices in the USA and the Middle East, PAM’s clients range from university campuses to major sport and entertainment venues as well as airports and government facilities. PAM was listed in KPMG’s Real Estate Innovations 2020, and was a winner at the 2019 Australian Technologies Competition.
