Myndstream launches new wellness music series and founder announced as Global Wellness Summit co-chair
Myndstream, a leading provider of music for the health, wellness and hospitality sectors, sits at the intersection of art and science, working with a dedicated roster of award-winning wellness musicians, scientists and wellness practitioners to create music designed to deliver health and wellbeing outcomes.
Studies have shown that music has the ability to reduce cortisol levels, decrease heart rate and bring down blood pressure (source), yet it is often under underutilised as a therapeutic tool and as a key component in developing impactful multisensory treatments.
Myndstream are on a mission to release the power of music to help practitioners enhance their treatments and transform the client experience.
Myndstream is part of the Cutting Edge Group, producers of music for some of the biggest names in TV and Film such as Stranger Things, Whiplash and Bridgerton. Building on over 20 years of experience and success in matching music to mood, Myndstream notes “we understand the power it has in shaping spaces and how people feel within them.”
Founder Freddie Moross has announced the up-coming release of Spiritus – a breathwork series by Grammy Award-winning musician and composer Peter Kater – onto The Stream. Spiritus is being launched at the International Spa Association (ISPA) Conference in Phoenix, AZ, currently underway and the series will be available to all new and existing subscribers to The Stream.
This new breathwork series complements other therapies such as Vibro-Acoustic beds and Salt therapy rooms, which can be offered as bolt on services, adding an additional revenue stream to businesses. Alternatively, practitioners can choose the five minute offering as a preface to treatments, to help clients destress ahead of treatmentst or as an end to a session setting them up for the day ahead.
Myndstream Founder Freddie Moross enthused “we’re thrilled to share Peter’s transformative breathwork series on The Stream — a platform that continues to support spas and therapists on enhancing the client experience by creating unforgettable and immersive wellness experiences through sound. It’s these value adding, differentiating experiences that get people talking and keep them coming back for more.”
Moross has also today been announced as one of three co-chairs for the Global Wellness Summit who will help create the agenda for the conference taking place 4th-7th November, 2024 at the famed Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St. Andrews, Scotland.
Other co-chairs are Nina Kohler - providing strategy and design leadership for the Hospitality Group within the Kohler Co., a storied brand that for 150 years has been a global leader in design and innovation; and Aradhana Khowala, Chief Executive of London-based Aptamind Partners, an advisory firm that helps governments and emerging destinations understand tourism’s impact as a change agent.
For the first time in its 18-year history, the Summit will be held in the UK, one of the world’s five largest wellness economies ($224 billion), and one of the two fastest-growing wellness markets in recent years according to the Global Wellness Institute. The invite-only Summit will gather leaders in health and wellness from dozens of countries for three packed days of exploring the very bright—and increasingly very different—future of wellness.
