Moshtix to Ticket Ruapehu Mardi Gras 2010
Emerging ticketing company moshtix has been chosen as the official ticketing provider for New Zealand's premier ski party event, the Ruapehu Mountain Mardi Gras.
The family-friendly event celebrates winter, and mixes the cultural aspects of small town New Zealand with the fashionable and extreme aspects of one of the country's most popular winter activities - skiing.
David Williams of Production Associates who is managing the Mardi Gras event, said that moshtix was the easy choice given their strong ticketing and technological experience, declaring "for this year's fantastic event, we were looking for a more advanced ticketing solution for our customers. We were really impressed with moshtixâs ticketing, technological, commercial and environmentally-friendly credentials so it was a natural choice to select them as the official ticketing provider for the Ruapehu Mountain Mardi Gras.
"Since entering the New Zealand market 12 months ago, moshtix has been successful in adapting its high-calibre services to cater for New Zealand promoters and audiences.
"I am very much looking forward to developing the relationship with the moshtix team."
Moshtix General Manager Adam McArthur said that he was pleased to have been selected to ticket one of New Zealand's biggest party events, stating "we have ticketed many big events in the past so are thrilled to have been able to bring our expertise over to the New Zealand market working with the Ruapehu Mardi Gras.
"There is huge potential for us in this country which is currently dominated by expensive, traditional ticketing companies.
"We hope to continually build our database of clients in New Zealand and really bookmark the moshtix brand here."
In New Zealand, moshtix has already ticketed for SOUNDAY, Passion Pit and Strung Out.
The Ruapehu Mardi Gras will be held from 7pm on Saturday 26th June 2010.
