Mass Participation World Conference expands with new awards program
Presenting a combination of keynote presentations, case studies, white papers, workshops, showcases and panel discussions, the 2019 Mass Participation World Conference will be expanding this year with an Awards program.
Expanding from the Mass Participation Asia Conference, the event will enable delegates to learn from industry leaders about key developments in the fast-growing mass participation sports events sector.
Themed ‘Mass Participation 365’, Mass Participation World Conference will once again be held at the Hilton Singapore between 2nd and 4th December 2019.
This year’s Conference will also see the introduction of an awards ceremony on 3rd December to recognise the best events and initiatives in the industry in Asia.
10 finalists will be selected for each award category based on data collected via three channels - self and industry award nomination; anonymous industry expert nomination; and information taken from the inaugural Mass Participation World participant and industry survey.
The conference itself will feature a line-up of regional and international specialists, including keynote speaker Rob de Castella - the and former marathon world champion and Australian Institute of Sport Director.
de Castella will share his experiences at the top level of endurance sport, his transition into leading the Australian Institute of Sport and his involvement in the Indigenous Marathon Project.
