Lovett takes the reins at Cleanevent international

Global facility management company The Spotless Group Ltd have appointed Craig Lovett as Chief Executive and Managing Director of their International Services business based in Uxbridge, London.

Announcing the appointment Spotless Chief Executive and Managing Director Jo Farnik, stated "Craig Lovett's experience with our international operations, his close relationships with Global International events market and his responsibility for the growth of Spotless' Leisure Sports and Entertainment business, positions him perfectly to assume this role."

Lovett, who founded Cleanevent in Melbourne in 1987, is taking up his new role with immediate effect.

Speaking of his appointment, Lovett explained "we are fortunate to have a great team looking after some of the most prestigious and iconic venues serviced by our Cleanevent, Cleandomain and EMC Brands. We are all about the establishment, the maintenance of great relationships and the focus on delivery of service excellence and maximising the customer experience at all times.

"We understand we are part of the show."

Lovett will maintain his role as General Manager of the Leisure, Sports and Entertainment Sector at Spotless, which will include the delivery of cleaning, housekeeping and laundry at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Cleanevent, which was acquired by Spotless in March 2010, has been active in the UK since 2000, specialising in retail (under the Cleandomain brand) and in sport, events and entertainment.

The company's expertise lies in planning, designing, mobilising and delivering a quality service across a range of environments with systems at the forefront of cleaning, waste and event management technology.

Cleanevent now services more than 350 venues and events around the world including prestige European venues such as Wembley Stadium, Twickenham, Westfield, Cheltenham Racecourse, Arena Leisure, Arsenal Football Club, the O2 Arena and the Silverstone Race Circuit, including the British Grand Prix.
