Logan Entertainment Centre awarded for its visitor experience

Logan Entertainment Centre (LEC) in South East Queensland has been identified as a Best of Queensland Experience by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ).

The Best of Queensland Experience program is a partnership with TEQ, Brisbane Marketing, the Queensland Tourism Industry Council and the Department of Innovation and Tourism Industry Development.

The program is based on an independent set of criteria including online customer reviews, response to consumer expectations and industry-best practice.

City Lifestyle and Community Committee Chairperson Councillor Steve Swenson said Council was pleased to learn the LEC had been awarded 95 out of a possible 100 points in the 2019 Best of Queensland Experiences Program.

“We are extremely proud that the LEC is delivering a great experience to the people who frequent the facility,” Councillor Swenson said.

Under the program, the LEC is identified as delivering exceptional customer service and helping to build a positive reputation for both Council and Queensland.

Those that are chosen as Best of Queensland Experiences are prioritised across TEQ’s marketing and activities including priority placement on Queensland.com

The LEC will also be listed on TEQ’s preferred operator database which is used for the planning of activities.
