Live Nation to invest in new Northbridge Music Hall

Live Nation is to invest in the future of live entertainment in Perth with the launch of Northbridge Music Hall, a purpose-built venue set to open in Summer 2026/27. With a 3,000-capacity and an expected 120 shows in its first year, Live Nation hopes that the venue will elevate Perth’s live music scene and reinforce Northbridge as the city's premier entertainment destination.

Located at 77 Francis Street, the venue will feature two performance spaces - a main room and a smaller club room - each equipped with state-of-the-art staging and production. The striking facade and elevated streetscape are designed to become a new cultural landmark.

Catering to fans of music, comedy, and theatre, Northbridge Music Hall will host a diverse lineup of local and international acts. Filling the gap for a mid-size venue, it’s poised to become a cornerstone of Perth’s vibrant arts and entertainment community and a key stop on Australian tour circuits.

The launch of this venue is projected to create at least 70 direct employment opportunities and pathways for industry professionals and generate numerous positive economic impacts for other local businesses in Perth's hospitality and live music sectors.

In a joint statement, Alex Klos, President, and Paul Piticco, Director of Touring and Venue Development, Live Nation Australasia, advised “Northbridge Music Hall is set to become a cornerstone of Perth’s cultural landscape and a dynamic space for live entertainment. Designed to welcome both rising talent and world-class performers, it’s an investment in the city’s creative future and we’re excited to collaborate with the local arts community to create new opportunities for both performers and fans.”

Northbridge Music Hall joins Live Nation’s growing portfolio of venues across Australia and New Zealand, including Festival Hall in Melbourne, Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, and Spark Arena in Auckland - each serving as a cornerstone for their local entertainment communities.
