Les Mills Begins Global Search for the Ultimate Studio
Les Mills International (LMI) has commenced a global search for the ultimate fitness studio.
With its international reputation for creating 'fitness magic' through a combination of choreography, music and inspirational instructors, LMI has questioned whether the environment overlooked in that mix?
As a result, the Ultimate Studio Search is now scouring the world for the best group fitness studios to highlight this issue and raise standards across the industry.
The two best facilities in the judges' eyes will win seven-day trips for two to Les Mills head office in Auckland, New Zealand, including a tour and use of the Les Mills World of Fitness facilities, and a vineyard tour.
The contest closes on 15th April and every group fitness studio in the world is eligible to win, regardless of whether the facility uses Les Mills programming.
Suggestions for the ultimate studio are that it needs to be the right size (big or small) for the class and shaped so everyone can see the raised stage. Other qualities might include tidy storage for equipment, ventilation, water access, a dynamite sound system and lighting.
