Latest FlowRider opens in Nanjing, China

The latest addition to the FlowRider® family of artificial surf wave simulators has opened at the Nanjing Happy Magic Water Cube, China.

Designed by WhiteWater, the newly opened waterparl includes a Wave Pool, an Aqua Loop, a Wizard, and several extreme slides.

The FlowRider® Double is built into an amphitheatre-like setting, allowing viewers to look in on the attraction, and has been an instant success.

FlowRider® developers WaveLoch explain "we expect great things in the future from China, as more and more venues are putting FlowRider sheet waves into their plans, bringing the thrill of surfing to our friends in Asia.

"We expect to see them competing on the Asian FLOW (Flowboarding League Of the World) Tour soon."

The group behind the Nanjing Happy Magic Water Cube also operate the Beijing Happy Magic Water Cube, the former home of swimming and diving events for the Beijing 2008 Olympics, and have plans for other developments across China.
