Lasttix: Tickets at the Last Minute
MyTickets has launched Lasttix, a new success based solution, to enable ticket sales for an event to be made available up to fourteen days before its staging.
As Lasttix Chief Executive Christopher Plowman explains, for venues âlooking for a channel to sell (tickets) without eroding yield and branding (they can be made) available on Lasttix for free.?
The Lasttix website enables venues, according to Plowman, to âtake advantage of one of our many merchandising opportunities to let people know what theyâre missing out on â and (venues) only pay when you sell a ticket.?
Over the last 12 months, MyTickets has been integrating its technology with various ticketing engines, so that when consumers find an offer on Lasttix, they are transported directly to the relevant checkout page to complete their purchase.
Plowman believes that the initiative âwill be particularly helpful for the times in which we live, itâs basically like wotif.com , but for entertainment, not hotels.
âOur ambition is to become a trusted source of entertainment, value and convenience (but) earning this trust will take time.
âSo for now weâre a new site and still in beta phase (and) over the coming months weâll be increasing the number of offers available on the website.?
Plowman highlights that âwe have support from of a wonderful group of promoters, arts companies, venues and sporting associations who are keen to explore new ways of encouraging you to do more with your free time.
âWe also have an awesome sponsor, a passionate team, and patient shareholders.?
