LAI Games forms new division to manufacture and market pay-per-use lockers

Global amusements developer and manufacturer LAI Games has established a new division, The Locker Network.

Making use of technology licensed from Locker Systems of Australia/Compusafe, The Locker Network offers clients around the world a system of easy-to-use, secure storage for location customers while creating a new revenue stream for operators.

The advanced electronic locker systems display sophisticated features including:

• Touch-screen payment modules with simple user interfaces and multi-language voice message assistance;
• Secure locker access control options via PIN, barcodes (on cards, tickets and wristbands), RFID or magnetic strip cards. Media are validated at modular touchscreen payment kiosks offering a simple user interface and multilingual voice prompts;
• Wireless remote monitoring and sophisticated cash/security logging system;
• Fully configurable rental times and locker payment options; and
• A unique 'Floating Locker' system guests pay a one-time fee for access to lockers at different locations within a facility.

The Locker Network locker systems are being manufactured at LAI Games' 9,000 metre2 factory in Indonesia.

A division of Perth-based Leisure and Allied Industries, LAI Games is best known as a developer and manufacturer of pay-to-play prize vending, ticket redemption and novelty games. Its Embed subsidiary is one of the world's major suppliers of cashless operating systems for the FECs.
