KOJO launches new public relations offering

Sport, events and entertainment company, KOJO, has announced significant expansion news with the launch of a new public relations offering and the appointment of a Head of Partnerships and Growth.

The announcement follows the acquisition of Prince PR, a boutique sports and entertainment consultancy founded by Britt Prince. This strategic move adds PR capabilities to KOJO’s team of storytellers, creatives, strategists, and producers and ensures a seamless transition and enhanced service for valued clients.

Britt Prince (pictured above), a seasoned professional with over 13 years of PR experience in sports, consumer brands, and agency roles, joins KOJO as the Head of PR. Her track record of successfully driving impactful campaigns and fostering lasting relationships brings a dynamic new perspective to the team.

Prince has managed the publicity of some of the nation's top athletes, demonstrating her reputation as one of the leading publicists in the country. Before founding Prince PR, she was at the helm of the AFL’s national PR team and was responsible for the league’s public relations strategy and implementation.

Head of PR, Britt Prince shared “KOJO is a global leader in the sports and entertainment industries with an award-winning culture, so I was thrilled by the opportunity to join the team.

“Our PR will be integrated and supported by some of the world’s best creative and strategic minds, leveraging the expertise of the KOJO teams to ensure every element of our work is considered and curated to deliver quality results.”

The PR approach will leverage the capabilities of KOJO’s renowned sports, live events, and entertainment teams to provide a comprehensive offering that allows brands to inspire, influence, and entertain. PR services include campaigns and strategy, media relations, communications, event and activations publicity, content, and influencer relations.

In addition, Aiden Blizzard (above) steps into the Head of Partnerships and Growth role, a pivotal position responsible for shaping and executing KOJO's client growth strategy as the company expands across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA.

In this newly created role, Blizzard will not only oversee the relationships with current clients but also identify and develop future opportunities and innovations alongside the KOJO executive team. With extensive 20-year experience and senior leadership roles across sporting organisations, clubs, and rights holders, Blizzard brings a wealth of strategic insight and industry knowledge to propel KOJO's growth strategy.

Head of Partnerships and Growth, Aiden Blizzard enthused "I am excited to have the opportunity to take on a new role and to contribute to the strategy and execution of our growth plan as the business expands beyond Australia and New Zealand.

“I look forward to continuing to work with our highly valued client partners and pushing the boundaries of industry-leading innovation and creative solutions in our sports, entertainment, and experiences services.”

KOJO Chief Executive, Stephen Lord noted “we have been working with our clients to grow their businesses in a broad range of industries and continue adapting our services to meet their needs. We have focused on maintaining sustainable expansion through strategic acquisitions to enhance our abilities while recruiting top talent in the industry. We are pleased to welcome Britt to the KOJO family.

“It’s also great to announce Aiden’s new role, who has been an incredible contributor to KOJO and our client's growth over the last two years. Aiden’s approach, experience and energy will be important in the next phase of our growth, connecting us with new clients, growing our work with existing clients and forging new partnerships.”
