Kingston Flyer hits the sidings?
The Kingston Flyer steam railway attraction near Queenstown has been put up for sale by its owner David Bryce.
Forced to close for a short period in December - due to issues relating to a boiler on the engine - Bryce had, in early January, announced that is was "all steam ahead" for the heritage train.
However, this was followed by sparks from the train igniting a local farmers grassland, razing six hectares of grazing land during sweltering heat.
Running from Kingston to Farilight, the Kingston Flyer is New Zealand's famous vintage steam train set in the spectacular mountain scenery of the Queenstown Lakes District.
