JUMP! Swim Schools to open more than 50 new franchises across Victoria
Demand for specialist infant swim instruction across Victoria has led to an unprecedented uptake in JUMP! Swim Schools franchises with 57 sites awaiting development approval from councils across the state.
JUMP! Managing Director Ian Campbell explained “the demand for these new sites are underpinned by a lack of council facilities in growth corridors and parents seeking specialised swim lessons for their babies. “
They include six sites across the south east Melbourne suburbs of Cranbourne West, Bentleigh, Dingley Village, Keysborough, Narre Warren and Officer.
Victoria has posted the largest growth in franchisees across the country for the Queensland-based company, which already has Victorian sites operating in Berwick, Caroline Springs, Craigieburn, Fairfield, Lynbrook, Mornington, Pakenham, Point Cook, Rowville and Somerville.
An additional 20 interstate franchises are operating in New South Wales, ACT, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.
Campbell believes that this rapid growth demonstrates the value of combining a franchise model that inherently minimises risks of seasonal dips, even in a conventionally seasonal segment, with year-round operations that improve customer outcomes and support JUMP!’s mission of increasing children’s skill, confidence and participation in the water.
Turning what might have conventionally been considered a seasonal offering into a year round business has been achieved by the JUMP! model’s unique custom-designed indoor facility, with water heated to 33 degrees year-round, and a system that exceeds regulated cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Campbell said JUMP! is among the most successful, simple and financially secure new franchise models, adding “the franchise is designed for parents by parents so not only does it offer a simple business structure but provides a lifestyle parents want in 2016.”
It is also JUMP! Swim School’s distinct highly-personalised program and expert teaching in the specialist space of early years learn-to-swim that is delivering on the high demand for premium infant swimming lessons.
Campbell concluded “the JUMP! Swim Schools curriculum is a breakthrough in teaching babies the basic elements of swimming at a young age.
“We use the best practices from learn-to-swim programs across the world and focus on the core elements of conditioning, buoyancy breath control and mobility.
“Our family-friendly approach fosters close relationships with owners, teachers, children and parents making for a familiar and safe environment, perfect for boosting the confidence in young swimmers.”
JUMP! Swim Schools is a Queensland based multinational company that began in Grafton, NSW, in 2010.
