Jonas Software expands with new acquisitions
Jonas Software and its parent company Constellation Software Inc. have announced a series of acquisitions that will expand its business in new sectors.
Undertaking a trio of acquisitions since March, the first saw Jonas Software acquire UniOne, a provider of customised software to universities whereby they manage student activity.
With the UniOne product complementing Jonas' offerings and drive greater value to universities and student organisations throughout Australia, Jonas Software Australia Chief Executive, Jeff McKee stated “UniOne is aligned well with our existing leisure/sports associations vertical.”
As of the end of April, Jonas Software also announced its acquisition of Dynamiq Ptd Ltd, a business that supplies expert support and advice in crisis and emergency management, business continuity planning, strategic security and emergency response planning.
With businesses facing threats to their people, operations and reputation, from natural disasters, workplace accidents, disgruntled employees, industrial espionage to cyber-attack, supply chain issues and global instability, McKee noted “we believe they are a great addition to the Jonas family, providing peace of mind for employees, management and investors from multinational companies to small and medium-sized businesses.”
Jarrod Wilson, Chief Executive of Dynamiq, which was founded in 2005, added “the services we provide either prepare your people to respond during an incident or enable them to resume operations in the shortest possible time and then seize opportunities.
“Whether it is an extreme weather event or a worldwide pandemic, organisations need to be better prepared. We feel with Jonas’ long-term approach and organizational assets, Dynamiq will continue to enhance and strengthen our client relationships long-term.”
In the USA, this month has also seen Constellation Software reach agreement with Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) to purchase its collection and recovery business.
FICO collection and recovery products automate the lifecycle of consumer collections and recovery, including early collections, late collections, asset disposal, agency placement and optimisation, recovery, litigation, bankruptcy, asset management, and residual balance recovery.
Jonas Software operates over 100 independently managed software brands around the world, providing them with the strategic guidance and financial security required to be leaders in their respective markets.
