Jamberoo Action Park opens for hot new season and launches new season passes

NSW's favourite theme and water park, Jamberoo Action Park, officially opened for a new season on Saturday 7th September, in time for the current school holidays.

Offering a mass of with water rides and attractions, for 2013/14 Jamberoo Action Park has, for the first time in its history, launched a new season passes making it even easier for families to keep cool through the spring and summer season.

Purchased online for $89.99, the Jamberoo Action Park Season Pass provides unlimited access to all the Park's rides and attractions for the 226 day duration of Jamberoo's 2013/14 season.

Highlights of Jamberoo Action Park's 2013/14 season include:

Funnel Web - having opened midway through last season, the longest and biggest water ride of its kind in the world is back for its first full season of action. Sitting in a raft with three friends, riders will be left white-knuckled as they zoom at 30 kilometres per hour in and out of darkness, reaching multiple zero-gravity moments down the slide's 270 metres, before finally plunging into a landing pool at the end.

Banjo's Billabong - Also back for its first full season is the largest interactive water play area in the Southern Hemisphere, Banjo's Billabong. Containing over 198 different water features including slides, cannons, bridge climbs and cranks, and crowned by a 1,200 litre bucket which tips its entire water contents out onto all underneath it every few minutes, there is hours of fun to be had for all ages at this attraction!

Outback Bay - This 2.5 megalitre wave pool will have guests thinking they're at the beach! They'll be able to practice their body boarding, float on waves up to 1.5 metres high and relax on the deck chairs provided.

Surf Hill - With eight lanes of waterslide action, speedsters can race their friends on this wave-shaped speed slide. Featuring an 18 metre drop, riders will reach top speeds in their battle to be first to the bottom!

Splash Out - Riders will feel helpless as they catapult down one of two mammoth body slides, twisting and turning down a mountain, before splashing out in a landing pool at the end.

For fast priority entry, guests can download Jamberoo Action Park's smartphone app where they can access mobile ticketing and Park information. By purchasing e-tickets straight to their phone, thrill-seekers can avoid wasting time in ticket queues and spend more time controlling the action!

Finally, after an action-filled day, guests can view and purchase photos from their time at the Park online from the comfort of their own homes via the newly launched Jamberoo Action Park Online Photobooth.
