Innovation in Asian attractions to be explained at IQPC Forum in Singapore

With Asia set to become the world’s largest attractions market by 2020 in terms of visitor numbers and industry value, conference organiser IQPC will be staging the 2nd Annual Attractions, Amusement & Entertainment Development Asia Forum in Singapore on 26th and 27th February next year.

Set to present what the IQPC say will be “an unrivalled platform exploring how the region’s amusement, attractions and entertainment developers can attract and engage the next generation of visitors by creating exceptional seamless and interconnected experiences” the event will cover domestic and international investments in theme parks, family entertainment centres and indoor entertainment facilities.

Speakers scheduled to address the event include:

• Caroline Leong, Group Chief Customer Officer, The Entertainment and Education Group
• Thila Munusamy, Sales & Marketing Director, Legoland Malaysia
• Paola Ng, Project Director (China), Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group
• Lennard Otto, Chief Executive, IMG World of Adventures
• Chris Palmer, Director of Theme Park Attractions, Universal Studios Hollywood
• Phil Royle, Director of Development & Operations, Legoland China
• Greg Yong, Chief Operating Officer - Theme Parks, Ardent Leisure Group

Introducing the event, IQPC explain “as both local and international players mark their territories in this competitive marketplace, commercial success will be increasingly determined by the ability to keep pace with evolving customer preferences in all facets of development, including concept planning, IP development, technology investment and integration, digital marketing, outreach and engagement and more.”

In addition to the main Forum on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th February, there are pre and post conference workshops on Tuesday 25th February and Friday 28th February.
