ICC Sydney team secures array of awards at inaugural ABEA awards

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, secured a raft of accolades at the Australian Business Events Association (ABEA) inaugural awards that took place at ICC Sydney on 10th December.        

ICC Sydney secured the award for 'Venue Team of the Year' in recognition for its commitment to excellence and employee engagement as they hosted 668 events, welcomed 1.7 million attendees and developed innovative event experiences during the qualifying period.

ICC Sydney’s RESPECT for People, Place and Planet and commitment to creating inclusive, sustainable events and a lasting social and environmental legacy was rewarded with the 'Sustainability Initiative – Social and Cultural' award.

The event also saw three ICC Sydney star talents, Rita Nassar, Yaroslav Lytvynenko and Paul Abanico celebrated their graduation from the ABEA Emerging Leaders Leading Well program.    

ICC Sydney Chief Executive, Adam Mather-Brown praised the professionalism of the team behind the accolades noting “I’m proud of our achievements-particularly our commitment to creating innovative event experiences that make a difference for our clients, delegates and our community.
