Hunter Valley Zoo relaunched with Australian Wildlife Parks branding

Australian Wildlife Parks have officially relaunched the Hunter Valley Zoo as the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, joining Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park and Mogo Wildlife Park as part of the largest privately-owned wildlife park group in Australia.

Becoming part of Australian Wildlife Parks’s animal-based attractions group when Atlas Advisors Australia purchased the Zoo in July, the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park reopened to the public in October and is now trading seven days a week.

The new branding expands the ‘Wildlife Park’ naming across the three attractions.

Located in Nulkaba, Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is a tourist drawcard for the region and is home to a rich and diverse collection of wildlife in its own right.

The park offers up-close encounters with meerkats, squirrel monkeys and lemurs, and children can delight in hand-feeding wallabies, kangaroos, farmyard animals, ostriches and camels.

Adding to the diverse collection of wildlife, the Park will be welcoming new encounters with lions, maned wolves and capybaras, providing visitors with an amazing and unique experience to hand-feed and interact with these animals up close.

Hunter Valley Wildlife Park now also offers a QR code tour featuring animal education videos from Head Zookeeper, Chad Staples

Looking forward, Staples, known for his passion for the animals in his care at Mogo Wildlife Park and Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, commented “we look forward, together with the Hunter Valley Zoo team, to continue to deliver world class care for the diverse collection of native and exotic species at the zoo including lions, alligators, giraffes and koalas.”
