HKCEC named Asia's Best for the 10th time

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has been voted Asia's Best Convention and Exhibition Centre for the tenth time by readers of MICE (meetings, incentive events, conventions and exhibitions) magazine CEI Asia.
The CEI Asia industry survey and awards have been conducted since 2001, in which period the HKCEC has been named Asia's Best Convention and Exhibition Centre ten times.
CEI Asia Editor Martin Donovan, editor of CEI Asia, complimented the Centre when announcing the award this week, stating "the success of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre has been nothing short of astounding.
"Readers of CEI Asia have yet again selected the HKCEC as the pride of Asia when it comes to venues. Its triumph over the years reflects not only the HKCEC's iconic stature as a Hong Kong landmark, but it is also testimony to the staff and management who ensure a smooth operation for each exhibition, convention and other events whether be they large or small. "
Receiving the award, HKCEC Managing Director Monica Lee-Müller added "being the longstanding winner of this prestigious award, we are humble yet proud to receive continued support from our clients and peers. Their vote of confidence is probably the best and most credible recognition that any venue management company can receive.

*HML refers to Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Limited, the private management and operating company responsible for providing day to day management for the HKCEC, where it oversees administration, marketing, booking, scheduling, event coordination, maintenance and security. It also manages food and beverage operations at the HKCEC, including restaurants and catering services.
