Harvey Lister to join panel at EEAA Global Exhibitions Day Summit
The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia has announced that Harvey Lister, APAC Chairman and Chief Executive of ASM Global (Asia Pacific) will be joining the panel at the EEAA Global Exhibitions Day Summit – a hybrid event held on 2nd June and hosted by International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney).
Lister, who recently won the Australian Event Awards 2020 ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, brings his almost 50 years-experience in the entertainment, events, tourism and venue industry.
Lister has been involved in the presentation of more than 40,000 major events including multiple Olympic and Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games, other significant sporting events, key meetings of international heads of state, major concerts and conferences.
Also joining the EEAA panel is Simon Burgess, General Manager Adelaide Convention Centre; Jane Ford, Chief Executive Exhibitions and Events Australia and New Zealand; Jimmy Busteed, General Manager of Sales, Australian Turf Club, and Kym De Britt, Chief Executive, Australian Dental Industry Association. Busteed has over 20 years of experience in the events and hospitality and has led the sales team at the Australian Turf Club for five years.
De Britt will be sharing his strategic and measured collaborative approach to the threats of COVID on large public gatherings.
Global Exhibitions Day (#GED2021) is an annual world-wide campaign that was established by the Global Association for the Exhibition Industry (UFI) to celebrate the power of exhibitions and events. This year's message is ‘Exhibitions are key to rebuilding and recovering communities’.
The EEAA 2021 Global Exhibitions Day Summit will be a hybrid event, featuring renowned international and local guest speakers who will share their outlooks for the industry, learnings from the COVIDSafe shows, changing customer dynamics, and new ways to re-engage with exhibitors and visitors.
