Hamilton Island welcomes new Chief Executive Peter Brulisauer

The Oatley family has advised that Peter Brulisauer has begun his tenure as Chief Executive of Hamilton Island. 

Brulisauer ‘s appointment was announced in February. Brulisauer joins the Hamilton Island family from Vail Resorts, where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of their Australian operations.   

Brulisauer has been integral to the success of the Australian snow industry, leading Perisher, Hotham, and Falls Creek ski resorts for the past three years, following his leadership at Perisher since 2006.

Hamilton Island Chairman, Sandy Oatley notes “Pete is a magnificent addition to the Hamilton Island family, and we know his vast experience in tourism will further enrich our standing as a world-class tourism destination in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.

“Pete’s a values-driven leader of the highest calibre, and he’s exceptionally qualified for the role having led Perisher, Hotham, and Falls Creek ski resorts. Our family knows Hamilton Island is in safe and capable hands with Pete at the helm.”
