Good Sports launches online resource
Australian Drug Foundation's Good Sports, Australia’s largest community health sports programs, has recently launched a new online model and is now looking for new clubs to join the program.
Good Sports has 92 different sporting codes participating in the Good Sports programs. Almost 10,000 Australian sporting clubs are already using the program’s free, online tools and resources to build a policy covering alcohol management, smoking regulations, mental health, illegal drugs and safe transport that together adds up to help create a safe, welcoming, family friendly environment.
Good Sports has been helping build strong community sporting clubs across Australia for over 20 years. Designed for busy sports clubs, Good Sports takes the guess work out of complying with legal requirements and gives clubs the upper hand when it comes to attracting funding, new members and volunteers.
Good Sports has created a campaign kit including assets and copy suggestions - Leagues and Associations, State Sporting Organisations, National Sporting Organisations, local councils and other key stakeholders are invited to use and adapt the resources provided in this kit to help promote Good Sports to their local sporting clubs.
New clubs who sign up before 25th March 2021 will have the chance to win $1,000 to spend on their club (T&Cs apply).
